Alessi ivory coloured electric Hot-plate ex display

Alessi ivory coloured, electric 'plug in', oval shaped Hot-Plate, model AME01 EX is an ex display product.

This Hot-Plate works on the principle of the gradual release of heat: the stainless-steel plate heats rapidly during the charging stage (about 10 minutes), but releases the accumulated heat very slowly (for over an hour).

This means that once it has been charged, it is possible to use without the cable, directly on the table, with heat proof serving dishes. NOTE this Hot Plate is not to be used for cooking or defrosting.

Due to this Hot Plate being on display & subjected to a lot of sunlight the white ivory thermoplastic body has a top part which has slightly faded to an ivory colour. The hot plate is made in 18/10 polished stainless steel which has some minor hair line scratches, supplied with a detachable 3 pin UK plug/cable & an instruction manual.
