The idea of a bird in a cage comes from the Roman and Egyptian civilisation. In England, caged birds in the home was a sign of a good upbringing. This later developed into the lamp-object, an icon of British high status.

The metal rod cage comes in black painted or 24 carat gold painted colours. Then choose from either a black painted or 24 carat gold hand painted ceramic bird.

The Twee T. lamp is supplied with a single E27 100W 250V light bulb.

The Casamania Twee T. is also available as a large size bird cage pendant lamp.
